Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Move for Motion clients usually receive Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). CBT is an effective form of psychotherapy. The official GGZ treatment guidelines recommend CBT for the treatment of sexual dysfunctions, anxiety, mild depression and stress disorders.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is actually a compound term that combines cognitive therapy and behavioural therapy. Cognitive therapy focuses on changing your thought pattern, which triggers a change in the emotions and behaviour that result from this thinking. Behavioural therapy focuses on altering the aspects of your behaviour which cause or reinforce your complaints. Emotions and thoughts change as a result.

This is how we create motion, there where you got stuck. Your thoughts will change in a positive way, you will experience less negative emotions and your behaviour will be more effective.
